The city of Teruel is considered as the City of Love, the capital of Múdejar Architecture and the cradle of Dinosaurs. Múdejar and Neo-Múdejar Art
The Múdejar of Teruel was recognized in 1986 by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. You can enjoy it by visiting the towers of the city. The Escalinata (starway) and the Cathedral’s door are examples of Neo- Múdejar art.
The Lovers of Teruel
The lovers Diego de Marcilla and Isabel de Segura are known by their legendary history. Nowadays you can visit the Tomb of the Lovers of Teruel where you can discover the history and watch the big sculptures from Juan de Ávalos where their remains rest.
Modernism
In the Torico Square of Teruel, among other spots of the city, you can enjoy different modernistic buildings whose structural and ornamental elements are to admire while you have a drink in a terrace.
The Way of el Cid

Dinópolis
Live the dinosaur world in Territorio Dinópolis. In the city of Teruel you can find the main park, Dinopolis. In other localities of the province you will find seven more centres. Active tourism and ski tourism
Teruel has great trekking routes of different levels perfects for everyone. If you are a mountain bike lover (MTB), Teruel is your paradise to discover. In addition, Teruel is very close to the ski stations of Aramón Javalambre and Aramón Valdelinares where you can enjoy a skiing trip.
Our holidays
Modernist Festival: On the third Saturday of November, Teruel celebrates an attractive festival linked to the modernist era that the city experienced, with reenactments and various related activities.
The Weddings of Isabel de Segura: On the first Sunday of October, "Diego's Departure" is held during a weekend. Later, during a weekend in February, Teruel relives the tragic love story of its famous lovers. The city dresses in medieval costumes, and activities, reenactments, exhibitions, parades, and much more are held!
La Vaquilla del Ángel: In the month of July, this is the most deeply rooted traditional festival in the city of Teruel. Bull ensogging, music, tents, various activities, fireworks... It's definitely worth experiencing.
Teruel Ham Festival: In September, the Ham and Quality Food Fair covers two very different aspects. On one hand, the technical and commercial, and on the other, the popular and festive.
Holy Week: The Holy Week in the City of Teruel is considered a National Tourist Interest Festival. The whole city is involved in various events around the cornets, drums, and bass drums.
