Hotel Civera

The city of Teruel, in the Region of Aragón, was occupied by the Arabs during the period of Muslim occupation. Walking through its streets is a real privilege because the architecture of that time is kept.

Teruel preserves many Mudejar art evidences, a style inherited from Islamic influence. In 1986 the city was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

The story of Amantes de Teruel (The Lovers of Teruel) involved Juan Diego Martínez de Marcilla and Isabel Segura.

Juan Diego went to war and when he returned, Isabel Segura was married other man. Juan Diego asked Isabel for a kiss, but she denied and consequently, he died.

The next day, Isabel visited the deceased and wanted to give him the kiss he asked before. Suddenly, Isabel died as well.
It is a cultural theme park where dinosaurs are the protagonists. It consists of a Jurassic circuit where the story of dinosaurs is told, a museum with fossils, 3D cinema and a meteorite. It is a great plan to spend the day with your family. You can buy tickets at our hotel.
The Cathedral of Teruel
The Cathedral of Teruel has a Mudejar style of the 12th century. It is considered the most representative monument of the city.
It is an amazing village near Teruel with great beauty and picturesque aesthetic.

Strolling through its narrow streets means going back in time. Climbing to the top of the village and visiting the majestic castle to contemplate the excellent views of the surroundings and the Guadalquivir river is a must.
